Week 5

Thanks for your support of the maths challenge last week.  We had 75% of the class turn up at 7am for the Mathletics breakfast.

Overall the class finished 21st in NZ (1st in Haumoana School) and the school finished 9th in the Tri Nations competition.

Anthony scored over 29,000 points followed by Jahkairo with  and Jacob on

Speeches

Speeches are a priority this week.  The children have had time in the classroom and it is an expectation that they complete their speech for homework.  No extra reading, spelling or maths this week. The topic is shared with them via email and available on the 'Notices' tab on the Blog.

Parent/Teacher Interviews

It is great to see so many parents arranging times for interviews.  See the previous post for the link and information if you haven't already booked.  If times/days are not suitable this week, please feel free to arrange another day/time.  Email contact is the easiest way to arrange another date.  david@haumoana.school.nz

Camp notices will be out shortly.  Camp meeting with information about camp will be held on 13th September at 5.30pm.
