Week 6

Week 5 review
Parents - Thank you for taking the time to discuss your child's learning at the interviews. Please keep in touch if you have any concerns.
Awards
We missed a week so two children received awards at last Thursday's assembly.
Milla for working interdependently to achieve common goals.
Kylie for displaying a 'Growth Mindset".

We found our champions for the Interschool swimming sports.  Well done Scarlett and Alex.
Congratulations also to Rimu for their overall win on the day!

Room 6 met up with their buddies from Rooms 1 & 8 on Friday afternoon to play board games.  This was a very successful session with the Year 6s showing what a caring bunch they are. Photos below.

We are fortunate enough to have Miss Lees (a candidate teacher) helping out in our class for the rest of the term.  Amongst her other tasks, she will be taking maths groups.

Week 6

  • Interschool swimming sports on Wednesday at Clive pools. We require parent support and transport for this event.  Please return notices to me ASAP.
The children should all have their blog live.  If they have not shared it with you, please ask and also follow by email so you can get regular updates.  Links will soon be published on the Room 6 Blog.
