Thank you to all the parents who were able to attend the Learning Conferences last week. If you missed out, please feel free to arrange a time after school so you can catch up with your child's learning.
This week in language, we will be reviewing our recent writing sample and proofreading and editing for accuracy. We also have a focus on the use of consistent 'tense' for our recounts.
This is the last week of addition and subtraction. The class has shown a good understanding of a range of strategies to solve problems. Ask them to explain at home.
We are fortunate to have Jamie come in on Friday to share and teach her flax weaving skills as part of our Matariki study. Parent help welcome.
Events:
- Four children from Room 6 - Anthony, Amy, Milla and Kobie are representing the school at the Coastal Cluster Technology Challenge on Wednesday.
- The final orienteering event for Primary children takes place on Sunday.
