Triathlon

With up to a third of the school participating in the Weetbix Tryathlon annually, Haumoana School has developed a strong triathlon culture over the last 8 years and become increasingly competitive in the Hawke's Bay Primary School Triathlon Championships since its inception in 2009.

Children also compete with success at the Ironkids series run in Napier during the summer months.

We also run a school triathlon annually in February - make sure that you get along to watch the competitive action - and we have organised run, cycle and swim training sessions during the school lunch hour.
