Last Tuesday we had a visit from Milla's uncle to share his adventures kayaking around the Svalbard Archipelago. The children were entertained and inspired by his contact and near misses with the wild life and the hardships encountered in the Artic adventure. We got to see some superb photos of the hostile environment. Thanks Jamie!
Congratulations to the Room 6 orienteering group. All completed their first competition at Splash Planet without 'miss punching'.
This week will see 7 children attend the Beach 5s on Thursday - thanks in advance to Cambell and Mel for transport and supervision.
We will continue to work on division in maths with the warm up activities based on place value. Ask your child to explain the photo below.In language, we will be letter writing and continue with a focus on commonly misspelled homophones.
